| United Wisconsin Insurance Earns “A” (Excellent) from A.M.

January 29, 2007 (LANSING, MICHIGAN) – United Wisconsin
Insurance—doing business as United Heartland and part of the
Accident Fund Group has earned an “A” (Excellent) rating
from A.M. Best Company. This is the second year that United
Heartland earned an “A” (Excellent) rating. United Heartland
is a wholly owned subsidiary of Accident Fund Insurance
Company of America
A.M. Best attributed the positive rating to historically
favorable earnings due to solid underwriting performance.
Other strengths include:
- Strong earning performance in 2006.
- Enhanced operating synergies provided by United
Heartland’s parent company, Accident Fund Insurance Company
of America.
