| Accident Fund names Lavon Page first-ever “Employee of the
Year” |

February 2007 (LANSING, MICHIGAN) – Accident Fund Insurance
Company of America has named 10-year employee Lavon Page as
its first-ever Employee of the Year. Page was officially
honored in January during Accident Fund’s annual employee
meeting.
“We have a very strong team at Accident Fund and value our
employees as our number one asset,” said Elizabeth R. Haar,
Accident Fund president and CEO. “How we work together is
just as important as the results we achieve. Lavon Page sets
the standard both for getting the job done and doing it with
a great attitude.”
Lead worker for Accident Fund’s Records Management area,
Page earned the award as a result of his long-term
commitment to the company’s Guiding Principles, which
represent standards of excellence for attitude, service to
customers and work ethic.
“It is a huge honor to have my work recognized by Accident
Fund,” Page said. “The Company has always put a lot of
emphasis on recognizing its employees, and it feels great to
be acknowledged.”
As Accident Fund’s 2006 Employee of the Year, Page received
an engraved award, a monetary bonus and a prime parking spot
for the year.
