| United Heartland Reaches $1 Billion In Historic Premium |

August 2007 – [New Berlin, WI] Workers compensation insurer
United Wisconsin Insurance Company (dba United Heartland)
has reached the milestone of $1 billion in historic earned
premium.
“We reached this milestone because we stayed focused on our
original vision of being an employer-oriented workers
compensation insurer,” says Emil Pfenninger, president &
CEO. “That vision has led to high customer retention and
satisfaction, as well as solid profitability.”
LindenGrove, a not-for-profit organization of care
facilities for older adults, has worked with United
Heartland since its first years of operation. CFO Mark
Sperka says that United Heartland’s approach makes a
difference.
