Accident Fund Names Reynolds Corporate Secretary;
Barnes, Riddle as Vice Presidents |

Jan. 20, 2009 (LANSING, MICH.) — Accident Fund
Insurance Company of America is pleased to make the
following announcements.
Steven E. Reynolds has been appointed Accident Fund’s
new corporate secretary. Previously vice president of
Innovation and Planning, Reynolds is now vice president,
Strategic Planning & Corporate Secretary.
In addition to his new duties, Reynolds continues to oversee
the company’s strategic planning, and vendor and project
management, as well as Accident Fund’s new headquarters
project, which features the historic renovation of the
former Board of Water and Light’s Ottawa Street Power
Station in downtown Lansing. The company plans to move to
the new headquarters in 2011.
Joining Accident Fund in 1997 as a marketing research
specialist, Reynolds has also worked as market research and
planning manager, and regional support and planning manager.
He has served as a vice president for six years.
A graduate of Walsh College in Troy, Mich., with a
bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Reynolds is a
member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence and the
Michigan Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Michigan program.
He lives in Milford, Mich.
Linda Barnes is Accident Fund’s new vice president of
Service Center. She oversees customer service initiatives,
billing and processing. Joining Accident Fund in 1985 as a
file runner, Barnes has served in a variety of progressively
more responsible roles, including medical payment
technician, claims examiner, account representative and team
lead – Great Lakes, Central and Southern. She played a key
role in developing a multi-state claims department and most
recently served as director of Service Center. Barnes is
currently working on a master’s degree in Strategic
Management at Davenport University. She has been a resident
of Morrice, Mich., for 13 years.
Lisa Riddle is Accident Fund’s new vice president of
Claims Operations. Riddle directs the teams that
investigate, manage and resolve claims. She joined Accident
Fund in 2007 as director of Claims Operations. Previously,
she worked for Travelers Insurance for 31 years, where she
served as workers compensation product lead and vice
president of the Michigan Claim Center. Riddle earned a
bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Central
Michigan University. She resides in Holt, Mich.
