Accident Fund President and CEO Elizabeth R. Haar Recognized as One of Mid-Michigan’s Most Influential Women |

Accident Fund Insurance Company of America is
pleased to announce that Elizabeth R. Haar, president and CEO of the
Lansing-based company, is being honored as one of Mid-Michigan’s Most
Influential Women by Inforum of Michigan.
Inforum, a professional woman’s alliance, is one of the largest and most
prestigious business forums in the Midwest with more than 1,800 members in
Detroit, Lansing and Grand Rapids. Established in 1962, Inforum’s goal is to
provide opportunities for women to cultivate their business skills through
sharing their knowledge and experience and works to bring women together to help
each other lead and succeed in business.
Haar, is one of eight women being honored at Inforum’s Mid-Michigan Inner Circle
event, which is being held at The Country Club of Lansing on Oct. 22, 2009. More
than 70 women will attend the networking event where honorees will be recognized
for their exemplary leadership skills. Accident Fund is also a proud sponsor of
the event.
Honorees will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience in an
effort to help women achieve success in their careers. “It is an honor to be
recognized by Inforum,” says Haar. “They are an excellent organization that
offers a variety of opportunities for women to share leadership skills and
mentor women who are looking to excel in their business careers. I am proud to
take part in the Mid-Michigan Inner Circle.”
The event will include a reception and networking opportunities as well as table
discussions hosted by Inforum honorees. The discussion tables provide honorees
an opportunity to share leadership skills and lessons learned, encouraging
candid conversations about succeeding in the business world.
